DALI Opticon 8 MK2 - Using design cues from the more costly Epicon and Rubicon series, SMC woofer magnets, wood pulp cones and a new improved hybrid ribbon/dome tweeter module. The hybrid tweeters has a ribbon tweeter introduced at the frequency where the dome starts to lose output and narrow its dispersion for extended silky smooth high frequencies. This large floorstanding speaker has dual 8" woofers, 6.5" midrange and the hybrid tweeter with a 29mm dome and a 17mm x 45mm ribbon in a rear ported cabinet. The speakers are hand assembled in their factory in Denmark just like the more expensive brethren. Available in a dark Tobacco Oak and Black Satin finishes.

Fyne Audio F501SP - Expanding on the F500 series design, the upgraded SP models use refinements taken from the F700 series, in the more basic cabinets of the F500 series (same size and shape but with a higher density fiberboard and improved internal dampening). The drive units and crossovers are based on the more costly F700 models, this 2.5-way speaker has improved 150mm bass/mid-bass drivers, 25mm magnesium compression dome tweeter and the machined aluminum plinth design of their more expensive brethren. These speakers are designed, built, hand finished and pair matched in their UK factory. Finishes for the cabinets are also a cut above the standard F500 models with beautiful Piano Gloss Black or Piano Gloss White finishes as standard and a Piano Gloss Walnut finish as an available upgrade.

Klipsch La Scala AL5 - First developed in 1963, it is the only other speaker besides the Klipschorn to be fully horn loaded and share its very high sensitivity. Using the exact same drivers as the Klipschorn in a more compact and versatile cabinet (for placement), and because they have a smaller bass cabinet the bass will roll off at around 50Hz. The new version has the same internal improvements in crossovers, wiring and connectivity as the Klipschorn. Klipsch Klipschorn AK6 - The speaker that started it all, in continuous production for over 70 years. This speaker and the smaller La Scala are the only fully horn loaded 3-way speakers. The angled cabinet is designed to work best in corners, if you have the right room for this speaker it will give you performance like no other. The latest AK6 version of the Klipschorn uses a 15" Fiber-composite woofer in a trihedral exponential folded horn cabinet, this is what allows 105dB efficiency. Q Acoustics Concept 50 - The new Concept 50 borrows heavily from the design of the top of the line Concept 500. The rear ported cabinet uses their Gelcore cabinet construction, where a 2 layer cabinet is constructed with a layer of non-setting gel dampening material between the layers. This construction dissipates vibration in the cabinet, and along with their HPE pressure equalization technology and P2P (point-to-point) internal bracing, it creates an extremely quiet and rigid enclosure. The remarkably stiff front baffle is made from a 3mm aluminum plate to which the two new 5" woofers and .9" tweeter are mounted. The tweeter uses a floating mount to further minimize any vibrational affect on it. Likewise the crossover is mounted to an isolation base in the bottom of the cabinet.
